Connecting to the transmitter

Transmit light on PC Interface adaptor

communication port 3 (COMM3) or 4

• The RFT9712 or RFT9729 has

transmitter software version 5.0 or

higher

between IFT9701/IFT9703 and ProLink

program

Ensure ProLink settings are configured

for HART protocol, 1200 baud, 1 stop bit,

250-600 ohm resistance and odd parity

(see “Communication options” on page

22)
